This week on The Gralien Report, we’ve been spending an unusual amount of time (even for us inner-earth dwellers) below ground recently, as we’ve been trapped in the bunker for the duration of the 2018 “Snowpocalypse” in North Carolina. With cabin fever well underway, we’re eager to look at the latest news about Mars, deep space, and sounds from alien worlds, along with a little cryogenics before discussing “The Null Hypothesis,” and how one science writer relates this to the subject of mysterious “wild man” reports.

Then in hour two, after getting to a few listener emails, we turn our attention to the subject of cattle mutilations. Many of these apparent “mutilations” have been casually dismissed as the simple interventions of scavenging beasts, following the natural or otherwise mundane death of cattle or other livestock. Undoubtedly, this is true in some cases, although there are other instances where physical evidence points to a more complex phenomenon behind the mysterious deaths and mutilations. In light of this, we look at a few of the more notable cases on this week’s Gralien Report
