mysticism

This week on The Gralien Report, we examine the issues facing recent reports that the U.S. gets “failing grades” as it relates to human rights, as we similarly learn that a hitchhiking robot was vandalized. Are we really on a course for ultimate self-destruction, and what can we do to reassess ourselves to promote growth in more positive ways?

On the heels of our existential discussion in hour one, in hour two we explore mysticism and the nature of the mind, our sense of self, and whether altered states of consciousness can expand our awareness of reality. How much of what we see is an illusion, or are such “mind expanding” experiences merely artifacts from within the mind themselves?

Many great minds have broached such subjects, including the late Terrence McKenna and David Bohm. We’ll explore this, as well as how mysticism relates to other worlds, and much more here on the Gralien Report.
