This week on The Gralien Report… as Hawaii continues to be rocked by a historic earthquake, we look at the damage, and the dangers many Hawaiians are facing (for those willing to send support, please consider sending donations or supporting in other ways: You can donate directly to Hawaii’s volcano disaster relief efforts here, or by calling The Salvation Army at 1-808-756-0306. 100% of these donations will go toward supporting disaster operations).

Elsewhere, recent tests show there are no hidden chambers in Tutankhamun’s tomb, a reality proven in part with the help of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) technology. In other search operations that are being aided with science, recent unsuccessful searches for the near-mythical disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH-370 may have solved the mystery of two 19th century shipwrecks instead.

We also take some time to look at how Las Vegas journalist George Knapp recently reported on how documents prove the Pentagon’s secret UFO study was based in Nevada, in a report which also further explains the differences in the study’s name (as reported previously on The Gralien Report). Also, we touch on the rather unfortunate recent story that appeared in Newsweek, which addressed the ongoing internal struggles the Mutual UFO Network has undergone in recent months.

Then in the second hour, we are joined by Lauran Ellis, who frequently works with Micah as a research assistant on the podcast. Having recently attended the CrimeCon event in Nashville, Tennessee, there was much discussion of a famous “cold case” disappearance, involving a young woman named Maura Murray. On February 9, 2004, the 21-year old nursing student went missing after presumably wrecking her car on Route 112 in Haverhill, New Hampshire. Although witnesses reported seeing her at the accident scene only minutes after the traffic incident, Maura Murray vanished without a trace before police could arrive; to this day, no one has seen or heard from her since the incident.
