This week on The Gralien Report, we look at news about a new MIT computer system that transcribes words users “speak silently,” as well as the discovery of a prehistoric ‘Sea Monster’ that experts think may be the largest that ever lived. Elsewhere, the DHS is saying that they’ve detecting apparent “anomalous signals” that seem to indicate rogue spy devices right now in the D.C metro. And heading further south, the discovery of new Nasca Lines found in the Peruvian desert has managed to excite archaeologists.
Then turning our attention to one of the year’s most underrated holidays, we wish everyone a Happy Unicorn Day as we look at unusual facts about these mythical beasts, as well as an examination of appearances the creature made in the King James Bible, and how ancient Latin might explain what this animal actually was… not to mention the fact that an extinct ‘Siberian unicorn’ may have lived alongside humans, according to what fossils discovered in 2016 suggest.
Then turning our attention to altered states of consciousness, we examine listener reports of lucid dreaming, and also the experiences of those who claim to have met “aliens” while under the influence of substances like DMT (as well as the studies that are currently exploring these experiences). Finally, in the last half of the show, we examine claims that a series of lie detector tests have helped “prove” claims of UFO sightings by NASA astronauts. As it turns out, the claims by an Albany-based company are essentially bogus, although the testimony of four renowned space explorers, and their sightings of unusual flying objects, are still worth exploring. In particular, astronaut Gordon Cooper describes a film he observed which showed a flying disc land at White Sands testing range sometime during the 1950s. Also, astronaut Edgar Mitchell described testimony given him over the years by people in government which, in his view, proves that there is a coverup of UFO information, which is kept from the public. We examine these statements, and much more, on this week’s edition of The Gralien Report.
