This week on The Gralien Report, we’re happy to kick off 2018 as Micah reflects on the long-awaited sequel to the Philip K. Dick-inspired Blade Runner, in which themes of artificial intelligence and avatars are paired alongside stunning visuals in a bleak future setting. However, as Hollywood special effects continue to improve and advance the way we view cinema, will films like Blade Runner 2049 continue to become more accurate portrayals of the actual future of humanity than science fiction could once provide?

Later in the program, conspiracy theorists have been up in arms over a fast food commercial that’s got their blood boiling: that’s right, the wicked globalist cabal known as the Illuminati is now using Taco Bell as the latest medium for its ongoing conquest and control of humanity. In addition to a controversial (and farcical) new commercial the fast-food chain has released, we examine the perspectives of online conspiracy theorists who believe that there is more here than meets the eye… which is even shown in the architecture and design of various Taco Bell locations. Is the popular Tex-Mex chain really being run by New World Order reptilians and the shadowy Illuminati? Well, no… which is why we have a little fun discussing it.

Finally, we compare and contrast the public discussion and debate over UFOs as it occurred back in 1958 with modern ongoing dialogue; is there really anything new that we can say we’ve learned about UFOs in the last half-century? We examine this, and more on this first 2018 edition of The Gralien Report.
