Many locals in the village of Uttar Pradesh are saying that 13 year old Twinkle Dwivedi has fallen victim to a curse, due to a bizarre affliction that causes blood to leak through the pores in her skin.

Schools in the area have refused to teach her because of the frightening condition, which doctors have called “an incurable clotting, though there may be hope for treatment. The Telegraph reported recently that Twinkle’s family, growing desperate with various accusations that the condition has to do with evil magic, has sought help from area preachers.

This situation, obviously, is reminiscent of the stigmata affect, where devout Christians in history have bled spontaneously from the hands and feet in ways which mimic the wounds of Jesus Christ at the time of his crucifixion. Could this rare condition give medical examiners any perspective with regard to cases where individuals like Padre Pio have appeared to leak blood through the pores in the skin of the palm?
