spectre

This week on The Gralien Report, stories ranging from spontaneous human combustion, to a gifted child who one expert thinks may show signs of telepathy… do such claims hold any water? Finally, we also take a look at U.S. presidents and other elected officials who have gone on record saying that “things are not what they seem.” So what, then, is the reality of the world around us, geopolitically and otherwise, and are there elements of control that work from behind the scenes, much like the themes presented in the new James Bond film Spectre?

Looking more deeply at the pervasive influence of Nazi Germany on world affairs following WWII, we discuss the occult interests Hitler and the Nazis maintained, as well as secret organizations which may be in operation today, with researcher Peter Levenda, and his own frightening detainment while conducting research in Chile decades ago. Levenda holds a master’s degree in Religious Studies and Asian Studies. He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the T.E. Lawrence Society, the AFIO, and he is also a charter member of the Norman Mailer Society, with Mailer having written the forward Levenda’s book, Unholy Alliance, which dealt with the history of Nazi involvement with the occult. He is author of a number of other books, including Ratline: Soviet Spies, Nazi Priests, and the Disappearance of Adolf Hitler, and more recently The Hitler Legacy.

Is there more to the idea of secret societies which, at times, may indeed resemble the fictional Spectre, and perhaps more than we realize? We’ll examine this, and more, on this week’s Gralien Report Podcast.
